Sri Lanka pacer Dushmantha Chameera has been ruled out of the remainder of the T20 World Cup with a calf injury. He has been replaced by 29-year-old seamer Kasun Rajitha.
Chameera played a pivotal role in Sri Lanka’s emphatic 79-run win over the UAE in Geelong by arresting the first three wickets to fall in the innings and ended up with impressive figures of 3 for 15. However, he suffered the injury during the last over of his spell and was seen shaking his head as he hobbled his way to the pavilion.
