New Zealand pride themselves on their fielding but even the best can falter at times. The Black Caps endured such an ignominous moment in the recent T20I against Bangladesh as they let the simple catch of Najmul Hossain Shanto hit the turf due to miscommunication.
Najmul Hossain Shanto miscued a hoick as the ball went miles up in the sky. The keeper is expected to settle underneath the catches that fall near the wicket but Devon Conway, in this instance, didn’t seem to have made a clear call. Glen Phillips from cover and bowler Trent Boult came running towards it to no avail as the ball landed between the three fielders.
