Ben Stokes saves a certain six with acrobatic boundary-line effort

It’s common knowledge in the cricketing fraternity that Ben Stokes is a livewire in the field. His catch of South Africa’s Andile Phehlukwayo in the 2019 World Cup reinstated his credentials as one of the premier fielders going around in the international circuit.

The England all-rounder produced another stupendous effort in the park in the second T20I versus Australia in Canberra. Mitch Marsh lofted Sam Curran over long-off with a straight bat didn’t quite get the timing right. However, his sheer power meant the ball still apperead to have enough legs on it to clear the rope. But Stokes flung himself on the boundary rope and acrobatically parried the ball back in to save a certain six.
