Dawid Malan hit a brilliant half-century as England recovered nicely from a top-order collapse. He was dismissed in the final over, having resurrected his team with a sparkling 82 off 49 balls. Moeen Ali chipped in with 44 off 27 balls as England managed to put a strong 178/7 on the board after being inserted in the second T20I at the Manuka Oval in Canberra. After facing a narrow defeat in the opening match, Australia made as many as five changes to their squad. All of Cameron Green, Daniel Sams, Nathan Ellis, Kane Richardson and Steven Smith warmed the banch.
