Dawid Malan slog sweeps Adam Zampa for a maximum

Dawid Malan has lifted England’s spirits after a top-order wobble in the second T20I in Canberra. The left-hander has scored 46 off 28 balls with the help of five boundaries and two sixes. Having lost Alex Hales and Jos Buttler in the PowerPlay, England were reduced to 54/4 as Ben Stokes and Harry Brook fell in short order. England will hope the pair of Moeen Ali and Malan can push them to a respectable total.

The visitors are leading the series 1-0 after winning the opener at the Optus Stadium in Perth.
