Just a day after landing in Perth, India kicked off their preparations for the T20 World Cup. While the first session was mild in intensity, the one that followed saw the batters getting acclimatized to the pace and bounce which are an essential feature of Australian pitches. All the players were in attendance as Rahul Dravid spearhead the proceedings at the Western Australian Cricket Association ground in Perth. The batters were served with plentiful deliveries on the backfoot as they punched, cut and pulled in a bid to get used to the conditions.
