In the second T20I against West Indies on Friday, pinch-hitter Tim David slammed 42 off just 20 deliveries, clearing the fence thrice in the process. Teammate David Warner was particularly pleased with David’s fearless approach after Australia had just lost two key wickets.
Prior to this, he had also bludgeoned a fifty against India on his maiden tour with Australia. His performances have put pressure on Steven Smith as the selection panel mulls over an XI without the experienced campaigner despite him featuring in their glorious T20 World Cup campaign last year in the UAE.
