The pinch-hitting Tim David took a couple of balls to get his eye in before clearing his front leg and hitting a six down the ground. However, it was in the 17th over when he switched gears, tonking Obed McCoy for two fours and two sixes off the first four balls of the over before getting rapped on his pads off the fifth. His 20-ball 42 proved instrumental as the rest of the Australian batters failed to keep up with the tempo. Australia managed a competitive 178, which proved adequate in the end as West Indies fell short in the chase to concede the series 2-nil.
