Jasprit Bumrah has been ruled out of the T20I series against South Africa, and whether he will be able to feature at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 is uncertain as well. Despite the news of his stress-fracture injury, BCCI president Sourav Ganguly is not giving up on the possibility of Bumrah flying to Australia to bolster India’s bowling resources in the T20 World Cup. Speaking to Xtra Time digital channel in Kolkata, Ganguly said that the pacer is not ruled out of the marquee event yet. Earlier on Friday, a BCCI media release confirmed that India’s ace quick had suffered a back injury and was being monitored by their medical team at the NCA.
