Jos Buttler, the England limited-overs captain, will continue to be rested as he recuperates from a calf strain that has forced him to miss the entire Karachi leg of the T20I series against Pakistan.
Matthew Mott, England’s white-ball coach, stated they were not willing take a risk with Buttler but hinted that the wicketkeeper-batter could be in action in the last two T20Is of the seven-match series. It has been a keenly contested joust so far, with both teams alternating between wins and defeats.
