In what will be a hammer blow for India, Jasprit Bumrah could be ruled out of the T20 World Cup in Australia because of a back injury. Bumrah travelled to Bengaluru on Wednesday to undergo scans on his back and the results are awaited, as per ESPN Cricinfo.
India have two quicks in their reserves: Mohammed Shami and Deepak Chahar. Teams that have already made the cut for the Super 12 round of the World Cup, as India have, can make changes to their squad without ICC permission till October 15.
