Given this is a lengthy rubber consisting of seven games, it needed two teams which couldn’t be separated much in terms of skill to battle hard in order to keep the viewers hooked. Looking at the evenly-matched scoreline of 2-2, it’s definitely been an ideal series so far with both teams grinding it in the Karachi leg. Whereas the first three games were pretty much won in emphatic fashion, the series craved for a thriller. That’s what the teams dished out in the final fixture in Karachi with the hosts snatching victory from the jaws of defeat to draw the series level.
