Livewire Axar Patel produced a moment of brilliance in the field on Sunday during the India vs Australia 3rd T20 in Hyderabad as his rocket throw from the deep caught Glenn Maxwell short of his ground.
Maxwell, who was batting at 5 runs off 10 balls, was returning for the brace after pulling the ball towards backward square leg but Patel came in charging toward the ball and shot a direct hit at the striker’s end. Patel was also the pick of the Indian bowlers on the day as he finished with bowling figures of 3/33.
