Haris Rauf’s death bowling masterclass helps Pakistan equalize

Mohammad Rizwan (88 off 67) and Babar Azam (36 off 28) added 97 runs for the first wicket, getting Pakistan off to another solid start. Rizwan went on to complete a 38-ball fifty in the 10th over and even hit Adil Rashid for his solitary six soon after, but Pakistan lost their way thereafter to end up with an underwhelming 166/4. The hosts were in the driving seat when England required 33 more runs from two overs, with only three wickets in hand. But a 24-run over from Mohammad Hasnain changed the complexion of the game. Haris Rauf then picked two wickets in two balls to put the game back in Pakistan’s lap.
