India win by six wickets in Hyderabad to clinch series 2-1

India’s post-powerplay game was top notch as they ensured a boundary almost every over to keep the run rate in check in pursuit of 187 against Australia in the third and final T20I at Hyderabad. Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav scored half-centuries while constructing a massive 104-run partnership off 62 balls. India were wobbling after the wickets of Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul but the century stand settled the nerves in the dressing room.

India now travel further down south to Thiruvananthapuram to start their 3-match series against South Africa. The Proteas put on a good show in June to share a 5-match series 2-2.
