Jhulan Goswami, who received another guard of honour when India took the field for the second innings, began proceedings with a maiden and kept things quiet despite Emma Lamb scoring a few boundaries. Goswami struck at the fag end of her six-over spell as Alice Capsey struck a short delivery straight to Harleen Deol at cover-point. Charlotte Dean and Kate Cross kept England on course for more than five overs before Goswami bagged a wicket in her final over by having Cross bowled. As she completed the last over of her storied international career, her team-mates embraced her while she was also given a standing ovation.
