Babar Azam's second T20I century and Mohammad Rizwan's 88* off 51 balls handed England a mauling at the National Stadium in Karachi in the second T20I as the hosts squared the series 1-1. Moeen Ali's 23-ball fifty headlined a strong batting display from England as they posted a tall 199 for 5 on the board. But the hosts galloped to the target, winning with three deliveries to spare thanks to the unbroken 203-run stand between the openers. It was the first double century partnership for Pakistan who became the first team to accomplish a 200-run chase with all wickets intact.
