They needed a lift when they came out defending an insufficient 130, but things went downhill after Kagiso Rabada saw Marco Jansen dropping a sitter first ball. Heads dropped and errors propped up as the two under-fire openers benefited. If Alex Lees enjoyed the fortune off Rabada, Zac Crawley got at least three reprieves as he raced to a morale boosting half-century, his first of the season.
