While South Africa enjoyed the ascendancy in the opening session on Day 4 of the third Test at The Oval, England dominated proceedings post Lunch thanks to frequent strikes from their pace bowlers. Ben Stokes, Ollie Robinson and Stuart Broad bagged two wickets each to leave South Africa wobbling at 146/7 at Tea on Sunday, September 11. The visitors lost six wickets for the addition of just 76 runs in the session and were leading by only 106.
