Young left-arm pacer Marco Jansen strikes in the first over after Tea. It’s the big fish – Joe Root. The fullish delivery wide of off, bowled at 137kph, enticed Root into flashing his bat hard in a bid to flay it through point. The execution isn’t on point as the ball flies off the outside edge and Peterse takes a sharp catch to his right at third slip. It was travelling at speed and he showed superb reflexes to snaffle with both hands. England are three down for 84 and Jansen has accounted for all of them.
