Their victory over India, chasing 173, with a delivery and six wickets to spare despite a middle-overs wobble that saw them lose 4 for 13 left the defending champions on the verge of elimination. Arshdeep Singh did well to take the game to the penultimate ball, unfurling a slew of yorkers and a pacy short ball but an overthrow saw Sri Lanka home.
