It was a special knock not just because of the quality shot-making but also because Rohit dismantled the opponent’s main bowler as well as one who is considered a negative match-up against the Indian captain. Hasaranga kept tossing them up and Rohit was happy to shimmy down and loft, over long and inside-out over extra cover. He picked his spots with surgical precision.
