Wanindu Hasaranga got the crucial wicket of Mehidy Hasan with a googly to castle the batter as he missed the slog completely. But Mehidy has done his job by giving his side a great platform. A wicket immediately after the powerplay always halts momentum. Mehidy took on Mahesh Theekshana for a six and then followed it up with a ramp shot for another six against pace. But Hasaranga dismissed the well-set batter to give Sri Lanka a breather.
Bangladesh have reached 85/3 after 10 overs, thanks to Shakib al Hasan's couple of boundary-fetching ramps in the 10th over.
