Birmingham Phoenix’s Sophie Devine took an excellent catch over her shoulder to dismiss Trent Rockets’ Alana King for one. The slog was mistimed by the batter and Devine tracked the ball like a hawk, settling herself underneath the ball before timing her jump to perfection to pluck it spectacularly with both hands. The commentator exclaimed that she has a safe pair of hands, evident as it was in that razor-sharp catch. Devine made what was a tough chance look easy, given she covered the ground wonderfully well.
