On this day, England amassed 444/3 against Pakistan

All hell broke loose six years ago on August 30 at Trent Bridge, Nottingham as the England top-order went berserk during the first innings of the third One Day International against Pakistan. The hosts posted a gigantic 444/3, and broke a spate of records in the process. Alex Hales and Jos Buttler unleashed carnage, as did Eoin Morgan, as England posted the then highest total in ODIs, surpassing 443 for 9 by Sri Lanka against Netherlands in Amstelveen in 2006. In response, Pakistan crashed and burned to a heavy 169-run defeat.
