Cameron Green and Adam Zampa entwined to pick up eight wickets between them while David Warner scored a half-century as Australia coasted to a five-wicket victory against Zimbabwe in the opening ODI of the three-match series versus Zimbabwe in Townsville. The home side took just a tick over 33 overs to chase down the paltry target of 201. Warner peeled off seven boundaries and one six, and in tandem with Steven Smith powered Australia into pole position.
Brief scores: Zimbabwe in 47.3 overs (Wesley Madhvere 72; Cameron Green 5-33) lost to Australia 201/5 in 33.3 overs (David Warner 57; Ryan Burl 3-60) by 5 wickets.
