Naseem Shah hands undercooked KL Rahul a golden duck

Pakistan’s debutant for the Asia Cup opener, Naseem Shah, handed a golden duck to KL Rahul who inside-edged one onto his stumps first ball. He could have prized out the wicket of Virat Kohli too, one ball later, if not for the spilled chance at second slip. The former India captain lived a charmed life as Pakistan pacers had their tail up, but managed to transfer the pressure back with some authoritative pulls and a top-edge that fortunately sailed over the ‘keeper’s head. India finished slightly behind Pakistan’s powerplay score, on 38/1, but what made Kohli’s 34-ball 35 all the more instrumental was captain Rohit Sharma’s struggle at the other end.
