James Vince plays an aesthetically pleasing lofted drive

George Garton and Paul Stirling provided the star turn in Southern Brave’s nine-wicket win over Welsh Fire, who crashed to their fifth consecutive defeat in The Hundred. The pacer set the tone by picking up three wickets in the first seven balls, as Fire lumbered to 129, before Stirling and Quinton de Kock built a season-best opening stand of 121 to get the job done and deliver Brave’s second win in six games.

Vince would have been a happy captain after his team’s inspiring performance. Equally inspiring was this innings from the stylish right-hander a couple of weeks ago.
