Shubman Gill compiles his maiden ODI hundred

Three years after his maiden appearance in international cricket, Shubman Gill has registered the first century of his career. Gill achieved the feat in the third ODI between India and Zimbabwe at the Harare Cricket Ground. The precociously talented right-hander looked in fine fettle as he attacked the hosts’ bowling attack with consummate ease. The 22-year-old Gill reached the landmark in just 82 balls. Coming into this game, he had an impressive record in ODI cricket with 369 runs in eight matches at an average of 61.50 with three half-centuries.
