Opener Vikramjit Singh and middle-order batter Tom Cooper saved Netherlands’ ship from sinking after they slipped to 37/3 in their manageable 207-run chase against Pakistan in the third and final ODI at Hazelaarweg, Rotterdam on Sunday. Mohammad Wasim Jr, however, gave the visitors a key breakthrough, dismissing Vikramjit for 50, leaving the hosts four down. Netherlands lost Scott Edwards to have five batters back in the shed with the equation set at a run-a-ball.
Pakistan lead the series 2-0 and they will eye a clean sweep of Netherlands by winning the third ODI as well.
