Skipper Nat Sciver led the charge both with bat and ball as Trent Rockets made light work of London Spirit to register victory by 18 runs in Nottingham to climb to the third spot in the points table. Having called wrong at the toss on her birthday, Sciver combined with opener Bryony to gorge a 97-run game-defining partnership as Rockets posted a formidable 142/4 from their 100. The partnership came after opener Elyse Villani perished following a boundary-laden 24 off 20 deliveries in the home teamโs electric start.
.@natsciverโs witty innings of 42 showed us her immaculate range of strokeplay and innovation. What a delightful performance!
