England Lions completed a clinical innings win over South Africa just five days before the opening Test at Lord’s. On the final day of the shadow match, the wickets were shared, with the resurgent Ollie Robinson, who finished with a tally of five for the match, picking up Rassie van der Dussen early in the morning. There was a wicket apiece for spinners Dan Lawrence and Liam Patterson-White before the promising pacer Sam Conners, who represents Derbyshire, ripped apart the tail to finish with figures of four for 23 on Lions debut.
