Sunil Narine takes wickets off consecutive deliveries

While Adam Lyth was at his explosive best in The Hundred last night, the rest of the batters in the Northern Superchargers camp struggled to get going. The moment Lyth was dismissed, Sunil Narine applied the choke to tip the contest in his side’s favour.

The West Indian ripped apart the middle order and got dangerman David Wiese for a duck first ball to finish with stunning figures of 3/11. Roelof van der Merwe peeled off a couple of boundaries at the death to guide his side past the 150-run mark but it proved to be infsufficient.
