Deandra Dottin, who announced her retirement from international cricket recently, has signed a contract with Adelaide Strikers for the upcoming Women’s Big Bash League. The former West Indies all-rounder drew the curtains on her international career by stating that there were problems in relation to the team culture and environment. However, she confirmed that she will remain available to play domestic cricket around the globe. Dottin has represented Perth Scorchers and Brisbane Heat in the WBBL, having scored 424 runs to go with 17 wickets over 29 matches.
Over 250 international appearances, 6000+ career runs, and the first ever woman to score a T20I hundred!
