England named a 13-strong Lions squad for the tour match against South Africa, ahead of the opening Test against the tourists on August 17. It was an excellent opportunity for the likes of Harry Brook and Will Jacks to test themselves against a strong Proteas side as they bid for a first Test cap, and the latter has already made his presence felt with a stunner at third slip. The edge travelled to his right as Jacks stuck out his right hand to catch the ball and leave his teammates in awe. Sam Billings, too, grabbed a couple of outstanding catches behind the sticks.
