In what was an eventful fifth over during West Indies’ 192-run chase, Nicholas Pooran struck a four and three sixes off Axar Patel before being turned down for a tight single by Kyle Mayers. He was stranded midway, run out for a 8-ball 24. Mayers and Rovman Powell managed a four each off Arshdeep Singh to help West Indies end the powerplay at 61/3. Mayers was caught at long-off by Deepak Hooda while Powell struck two sixes off the left-arm spinner before Hooda was in the action again in the deep to leave West Indies at 82/5 after nine overs.
