All-rounder Washington Sundar and seamer Deepak Chahar have been named in India’s ODI squad for the upcoming three-match series in Zimbabwe. Top-order batter Rahul Tripathi has also made the cut to the 15-member team, his first ever call-up to the ODI squad.
The tour of Zimbabwe conlcudes just five days before the Asia Cup kicks off in the UAE, which seems to be the reason why India’s squad doesn’t feature many of their first-choice players, including regular captain Rohit Sharma, Rishabh Pant, Hardik Pandya, Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah and Ravindra Jadeja.
