India pacer Arshdeep Singh had the last laugh in a duel with Kyle Mayers as he managed to dismiss the dangerous-looking opener in the series opening T20I match against West Indies at Brian Lara Stadium in Trinidad. On a pitch where not conducive to shot-making, India managed to post an above-par total of 190/6. In response, West Indies began well as Mayers slammed Arshdeep for a six and four. But the Punjab left-armer pulled one back, and the left hander was taken aback by the slower bouncer, chipping a dolly to mid-wicket.
Crucial wickets fall and the Powerplay ends with India on top.
