Jos Buttler thwacks Kagiso Rabada over mid-wicket

England have been unusally ropey with their white ball cricket of late and today’s performance was another proof of it. 208 was a daunting target but they never really looked in the contest because the moment they tried to up the ante, they lost a wicket. South Africa were good with both spin and seam. Spinners took care of the middle overs and the rest was done admirably well by the seamers. Shamsi bowled it slower and invited false shots from the batters. The wickets in the middle overs just ruined the chase for England. Jos Buttler couldn’t kick on at the top of the order after smashing an agricultural pull off Kagiso Rabada.
