Babar Azam’s fighting 81 went in vain as Sri Lanka rolled out Pakistan for 261 in the second innings to fetch a 246-run win in the second Test, at the Galle International Stadium on Thursday to draw the two-match series level. Rookie left-arm spinner Prabath Jayasuriya continued in a similar vein, bagging his fourth fifer in six innings to derail Pakistan’s efforts to save the game. Ramesh Mendis backed up his five-wicket haul in the first innings with four scalps in the second as Sri Lanka put a smile on the faces of the masses under trying socio-political circumstances.
