India captain Shikhar Dhawan won the toss in the third ODI against West Indies and elected to bat first in the dead rubber in Port of Spain, Trinidad. India made a single change from the side that won a thriller of a game three days back, with Prasidh Krishna returning in place of Avesh Khan.
India were in command at 115/1 in 24 overs before rain interrupted play. Shikhar Dhawan and Shubman Gill had both hit fifties to build a 113-run opening stand. However, Hayden Walsh Jr ended the rock-solid partnership, dismissing Dhawan on 58.
A fantastic knock from a fantastic captain! Here’s an extended highlight reel of @SDhawan25‘s brilliant innings.
