Shai Hope, featuring in his 100th ODI, made a well-compiled 115 off 135 as West Indies ended up posting a strong 311/6 in the second ODI against India at the Queen's Park Oval in Port of Spain, Trinidad.

Having added 65 for the opening wicket with Kyle Mayers, Hope stitched in a 62-run partnership with Shamarh Brooks for the second wicket to keep the runs flowing. The best partnership of the innings was the fourth wicket alliance of Hope and skipper Nicholas Pooran (74) – worth 117 off 126 – as West Indies crossed 300 for the first time in successive innings at home.
