Cricket is an intensely competitive sport, but there are times when it dishes out some really funny incidents. In a bizarre turn of events, a batter came out to bat sans his leg-guards during a village cricket match in the UK. After being told of his neglicence by the wicket-keeper, the forgetful batter can be seen running back to the dugout as the opposition players and the umpire share a laugh. Even the non-striker is on his haunches, amused by his partner’s faux pas. The batter in the video is Martin Hughes who plays for Southend Civic Cricket Club, and the subtitles are sure to tickle your funny bones.
