Ben Stokes’ stunner ends a special knock from Hardik Pandya

Hardik Pandya managed to turn India’s innings around in spectacular fashion to follow up on his four-wicket haul, scoring 71 off 55 balls in a 133-run alliance with Rishabh Pant that came off just 115 balls for the fifth wicket. He seemed set to score his maiden ODI century but it wasn’t meant to be as he was caught by Ben Stokes at midwicket off fast bowler Brydon Carse. Pandya pulled a short ball but could only get it off the cue-end of his bat. Stokes crouched low and put in a dive forward to pouch the ball inches off the turf.
