England whitewash South Africa after Tammy Beaumont ton

England opener Tammy Beaumont has moved up three places and made a comeback to the top 10 of the ICC Women’s ODI rankings for batters, following her 107-ball 119 in the third ODI which saw South Africa being handed a series sweep. She is now at the eighth place, ahead of Chamari Athapaththu, Smriti Mandhana and Ellyse Perry.

Having been disappointed at being dropped from England’s T20I squad for the Commonwealth Games, Beaumont scored an impressive 178 runs at an average of 59.33 in the three ODIs against South Africa.
