Adil Rashid has returned to England’s white-ball squads for the upcoming series against South Africa. The leg-spinner missed the series against India after being granted permission to make The Hajj pilgrimage to Mecca. Rashid is part of a 15-member ODI squad that also features Matthew Potts, who has earned his maiden ODI call-up. He made an impressive debut to his international career in the four Tests of the home summer, bowling with great discipline to dismiss some big names.
The T20I squad has a notable absentee in Ben Stokes with England’s Test skipper afforded rest in order to manage his workload.
