Virat Kohli walks through the majestic Long Room at Lord’s

Virat Kohli, who is struggling for form, returned to India’s playing eleven for the Lord’s ODI after missing the series opener due to a groin strain and looked in decent touch while playing a straight drive, on drive and cover drive as he collected three boundaries against left-arm quick Reece Topley. But Kohli couldn’t build on the promising start, perishing in familiar fashion as he tried to chase a wide ball away from his body off David Willey and gave an easy catch behind to Jos Buttler. His lean patch has been the subject of much debate in the cricketing world.
