Dawid Malan made the most of the reprieve he got on 4 when Harshal Patel dropped a tough return catch. He upped the ante in the 12th over with a four and a six off Jadeja to bring up the century for England and then took Umran Malik to the cleaners in the following over. Liam Livingstone, after working his way to 17 off 15, hit the gas pedal as he duly dispatched two leg-side full tosses from Harshal over backward square leg. Between the two of them, Malan and Livingstone clobbered nine sixes.
