Moeen Ali nipped out both the openers but India still managed to score 66 in the powerplay. Deepak Hooda and Suryakumar Yadav batted positively and both of them perished for high-impact 30s to Chris Jordan. Hardik Pandya scored at a brisk rate and brought up his maiden T20I half-century off 30 deliveries. At 178/5, India would have eyed 210-220 but the England pacers lept it tight in the last three overs. Jordan was the pick of the bowlers for England with outstanding bowling figures of 2/23.
