Once again with India feeling the heat, captain Jasprit Bumrah conjured up the breakthrough. Chasing a total of 377 in the fourth innings, the opening pair of Alex Lees and Zak Crawley gave England a wonderful start with a stroke-filled 107-run partnership on the fourth day of play at the Edgbaston Cricket Ground. As India’s prospects of sealing a historic series win seemed to be narrowing down, Bumrah rose to the occasion with an inducker that rattled Crawley’s off-stump for 46 on the stroke of tea.
